I'v followed Tim for many years now. He's a great man, a great thinker and infamous human guinea pig. He has spoken on the TED stage in the past, but this week, you can imagine my excitement when I spotted his most recent talk on the TED.com homepage - no mean feat. The talk was frank and honest, where Tim focused on how he uses stoic principles on a daily basis to thrive in high-stress environments and separate what he can control from what you cannot. Tim encourages the audience to fully envision and write down their fears in detail, in a simple but powerful exercise he calls "fear-setting."
